Our agility program is geared to the student
who wants a firm foundation of control and speed with his/her
canine partner. The program uses proven positive reinforcement
methods. This gives the handler knowledge to shape the skills
the dog will need to make a smooth, successful run on the
agility course. The dog gains confidence and speed. The handler
learns to control the dog's behaviors, both on and off the
course, while creating a working team. Participants in this
class are expected to help move agility equipment on occasion,
as needed.

One of the
most important aspect of agility are the contact obstacles.
Successful standard runs often depend on your dog’s
ability to complete the contact obstacles safely, quickly
and correctly. This course starts with the basics on the table,
dog walk, a frame and see saw. It then goes on to improve
accuracy and speed on those obstacles. This class will benefit
both the beginner teams as well as those teams who have been

Teaches the team to use and expand on the skills learned in previous classes. The teams start to run short courses.
