K9 Games Inc. Dog Training

K9 Games Inc. is expanding the services I offer the dog owning community. New classes are coming to a town near you as well as private lessons at your home.

Farmingdale classes! K9 Games Inc. will be offering Puppy and Basic Training 101 classes starting Sept. 2nd at Mother Nature's Pet in Farmingdale, ME. Call Mother Nature's Pet at 207-582-3580 for more details.

Pet Quarters, Merrymeeting Plaza, Cooks Corker, Brunswick: K9 Games Inc. will be offering Puppy & Basic Training 101 classes starting Wednesday 9/24/08. See schedule for more details.

Lisbon Adult Education: Puppy & Basic Training 101 classes will begin Thursday, Sept. 25th, at the former Lisbon Grammar School in Lisbon in conjunction with the Adult Education program. Contact K9 Games to register for these classes.

Gemini Agility Show: Cutter did very well at the Gemini Agility Show in Littleton Mass.  He got 5 Qs out of six runs.  How about that!  He is such a good little dog.  He has now moved up to level 4 in Wildcard, Full House and Colors along with Standard.  Marty and I are so proud of him.  Ellen Feldman

 

The Eastern Maine Agility Club Inc.held their sixth annual three day Agility trial at Skowhegan Fair Ground on July 25, 26 & 27, 2008. I was very proud of the K9 Games students that took part in the classes.

Bryan a two year old Golden Retriever owned by Judith K. Herman DVM, CVH of Augusta, ME earned his first Q (qualifying run) in Standard Level 1 with a 4th place. Judy and Bryan have come a long way in agility. I am proud of their efforts and look forward to their agility career.

 
Barbara & Lucy  

Lucy another Golden owned by Barbara Doughty of Brunswick, ME ran in 3 Standard, level 2,, classes placing 1st, 2nd & 4th. Lucy also wone 2nd place in colors, level 1 and in her 2 Jumpers runs got Qs with a 1st & 3rd placements. Way to go Lucy!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 
Bunny & Cutter

Cutter a Norfolf Terrier owned by Ellen & Martin Feldman of Owls Head, ME showed that winners come in all sizes by earning 4 Q's at the trial, Jackpot level 2, Wildcard Level 3, Full House Level 3 and Snooker level 3. Cutter also teamed up with Bunny for a very nice run in the Can/Am Games Saturday night.

Bunny, my Border Collie, also had a good weekend. Friday both her Standard level 4 runs earned Qs and back to back First places. Saturday, her Standard Level 4 run earned a Q and 2nd place and in Full House, level 3 she qualified with a first place. Sunday, Bunny finished off the weekend with a 2nd place in Standard level 4 and a first place in Jumpers level 4. I am very proud of my girl!

Bunny's wins on her way to her AKC Novice title are:

  • Casco Bay Dog Training Club, April 12th, judge Mr Arthur Cartwright, First place with a score of 195.
  • Casco Bay Dog Training Club, April 13th, Judge Ms Nancy Withers, First place and High in Trial, with 198
  • Vacationland Dog Club, May 17th, judge Mrs. Reta Boyd, First Place Novice B, score 195.
  • Vacationland Dog Club, May 18th, judge Mr. Robert L. Harris, First place Novice B & High in Trial with 195.5
